The first crowning took place on Saturday, June 5th 2004 at the ROTUNDA Powwow on Penn's Campus after the Grand Entry Protocol was concluded.  Brittaney Burnett was the first Miss Native Nations to be crowned our youth representative and she was crowned for 2 consecutive years until 2006.

Rachel Natividad was crowned Jr. Miss Native Nations in 2005.

Lia Gould was crowned our honorary princess in 2007.  Lia is from the Nanticoke-Lenni Lenape Tribe located in New Jersey.

Erin was our first professional representative crowned in 2006-2008.   Erin is now our International Tour Director.

Elizabeth Rule was crowned October 18, 2008 and is the fourth young lady to receive the honor representing Native people around the world.  Elizabeth has aspirations of being an attorney like her father.

1.  RESIDENT OF THE U.S. INCLUDING ALASKA & HAWAII

2.  PERFORMS WITH NATIVE NATIONS DANCE THEATER
      (AT LEAST 2-6 TIMES A YEAR - CONTRACTUAL)

3.  MEMBER OF A STATE OR FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED  TRIBE

4.  SEND PHOTO (S) AND A LETTER TO NNDT STATING WHY YOU WANT      TO REPRESENT NNDT AND WHAT IT WOULD MEAN TO YOU TO BE          MISS NATIVE NATIONS.

5.   BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6- 22 (different age categories)
